Paw Patrol the Dino Movie

Following on from Paw Patrol: The Movie, the pups are back on the big screen again and this time with a dino task on their paws.

Sailing out from Adventure Bay, the Paw Patrol come across a jungle filled island full of thrilling dinosaurs and with action around every corner. After some initial close scrapes with the inhabitants, they soon find themselves on a mission to rescue the endangered dinos from a devious plan of Mayor Humdinger to kidnap them all.

What is Paw Patrol the Dino Movie About?

A mysterious storm strands the Paw Patrol and their ship on Dino Island, a place inhabited by gigantic prehistoric lizards. It’s here that they also meet Rex, another pup who is stranded on the tropical island, who happens to be an expert on the dinosaurs after living with them for many years.

After coming to terms with their situation, the team soon discover Mayor Humdinger’s mining operations which are causing a long-dormant volcano to erupt, threatening the ecosystem of the island. It’s up to Paw Patrol to stop the mayor’s plans and save the day for themselves and all the dinos that live there.

Who Voices the Paw Patrol Characters?

Fans of the television series will be happy to hear the returning voice actors of many of their favourite characters, as well as big stars lending their vocal talents to newer characters who make an appearance for the first time in this film.

• Marshall: Carter Young makes their debut as Marshall, the clumsy dalmatian pup who is the firefighter of the group. This is the first time Young has taken on the character after they were previously voiced by Christian Corrao and Jesse Gervasi.
• Rex: Hayden Chemberlen voices Rex, a paraplegic Bernese mountain dog, Rex knows all there is to know about the dinos after living with them on the island. Some fans may remember Rex from the Dino Rescue series where they were voiced by Austin Farley.
• Skye: Hollywood actress McKenna Grace reprises her role from the first film as Skye, the Cockapoo who can fly almost anything. Whilst Grace voices Skye in the films, she is usually voiced by Lilly Bartlam on the animated series.
• Alistair Stonewall: A new character for the movie, Alistair Stonewall is voiced by actor Terry Crews who is well-known for his comedic roles on Brooklyn 99 and Everybody Hates Chris.
• Mayor Humdinger: Ron Pardo continues in his role as the long-time antagonist of Paw Patrol. The arch nemesis of Paw Patrol, the mayor of Foggy Bottom is always up to no good.
• Lilian Ledes: Another new character for the film, she is to be voiced by EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) award winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson.
• Heidi Pothesis: Jameela Jamil is welcomed to the Paw Patrol family with this role. The British actress and TV presenter is probably best known for roles on The Good Place and She-Hulk.
• Ryder: The young boy who leads Paw Patrol, Ryder is voiced by Henry Bolan who replaces Benjamin Sivcevic from the series and Finn Lee-Epp from the previous film.
• Chase: Chase is the charismatic police pup who is Marshall’s best friend and the de-facto leader of the dogs in Paw Patrol. Chase is voiced by Luke Dietz in the series and was voiced by Christian Convery in the previous film but now Rain Janjua will be stepping into the uniform.
• Rubble: The English Bulldog who knows how to build, Rubble is voiced by Lucien Duncan-Reid in the Paw Patrol series and returns for this film too, despite Rubble being voiced by Luxton Handspiker in the Rubble and Friends spin-off series and the previous movie.
• Rocky: Rocky the recycling pup is a mixed breed dog who cleans up and helps the environment by doing so. Played by William Desrosiers in this film, Rocky was previously portrayed by Billy Quinn in the series and Callum Shoniker in the last film.
• Zuma: The chocolate labrador that loves to be underwater, Zuma is known for their aquatic rescues. Nylan Parthipan carries on the role from the last film.

Other big names to feature in the film include worldwide rap star Snoop Dogg, science presenter Bill Nye, socialite Paris Hilton, comedian Fortune Feimster, and actor Meredith MacNeill in so far undisclosed roles.

There’s also new music from the Backstreet Boys which is bound to get younger listeners bopping along and parents dancing with nostalgic joy too.
