Great toy

Having read some of the reviews in here, I was a bit dubious as to whether I should buy this toy, but the price was too good to resist, plus I am a film set builder and thought that if there were any issues I would be able to fix them. However, construction was easy and relatively simple (only requiring a cross head screwdriver). The paint quality is good, although as with any wooden toys, this will be pushed to it's limits with my twin 3 yr olds. The structure is very solid, even the top floor only being held in place with two columns - if your child tries to stand in the top floor, it will break. For the price, I have no complaints at all and looking forward to giving this as an Xmas present.

Really disappointing customer service. Received as a gift and as many reviews have outlined, we had faulty parts so couldn’t put it together. ELC offered no alternative or assistance as I didn’t have a gift receipt.

Good toy, but needs some carpentry skills to assemble

The toy is good and my grandson loves it. However, when putting it together there are some aspects which need more fixing with screws then the kit provides for. In particular the upper level is held in place by just two screws into pillars from the level below. The seating into the tower is held there by luck only and would come apart if I hadn't drilled a new countersunk hole and screwed it on to the tower. The lower level is better fixed, though there is no fixing into the tower there either. Glue is no good as the painted surface makes it difficult to adhere.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Brought as a present for my son by a relative. Had a faulty part (the whole side of the lift was wrong) meaning it cannot be constructed without a replacement part. They refused to send replacement part as said it' discontinued and we don't have a receipt. Refused to offer any alternative resolution.The result is a garage that we can't even construct and a devastated 2 year old. WILL AVOID ELC / ENTERTAINER NOW AT ALL COSTS. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.
