Repetitive

This year’s City Advent Calendar is seriously repetitive of other years. We were especially disappointed by the final day, opening the SAME Santa as last year (if not the year before, etc). Also a distinct lack of minifigures and the snowman just seems to be a mishmash of random parts, without even a proper head. Even with the 30% discount as we purchased this after Dec 1st, it seems a let down. The 2-part sleigh and Mrs Santa were the only real reasons we bought it this year and a couple of the days’ builds (like the grandfather clock and ice sculpture) do seem worth it, and we really like the ice hockey player figure too, but that’s about it. In short, LEGO seriously need to switch things up next time around!

Readingbook
This was the best calander my son and I have built over the last three years. Granted, we have enjoyed our calenders every year. We got two calenders this year and City was the one both of us were excited for every day. He loved to build, play, and add then to our ever changing display. 10/10.
