Inspired by the classic Chinese novel Journey to The West, the game plops you into the body of a monkey hero who embarks on a journey to recover six relics in this action roleplaying game.

With a unique setting and storyline, it has an intense level of gameplay and a highly detailed story arc that lets the player develop their skills as they go.

4. Resident Evil 4 – 6.98 million units

A 2023 survival horror game, it brings the psychological horror and jump scares of one of the most recognised horror franchises into the modern era. Its successor, Resident Evil Requiem, is considered one of the scariest games ever made but only being released in February ’26, hasn’t had enough time to match the numbers of 4…yet.
