Barbie Family Zoo Attraction Prize Draw - Terms & Conditions

1. This prize draw is open to all UK residents except employees of the Promoter, their families or any third party directly associated with the administration of the promotion. Parents or guardians may enter on a child’s behalf and for those entrants under the age of 18, you must obtain written parental or guardian consent to enter and claim your prize.
2. The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary although internet access is required.
3. To enter, simply follow the entry requirements as outlined on The Entertainer’s dedicated Facebook page post (https://www.facebook.com/TheEntertainerToyShop).
4. The opening date for entries is 5 January 2023. The closing date for entries is 30 January 2023. Entries received after this time will not be valid.
5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
6. The winner will be selected by random draw on 1 February 2023. The winner will be notified by public comment on our Facebook post. If the winner does not respond to the Promoter within 24 hours of being notified by the Promoter that they have won, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

7. There is one overall winner and the prize is a Family Zoo Adventure Prize Package for 2 adults and 2 children (under 16’s). The Family Zoo Adventure Prize package includes:

   • £25 per person travel allowance;
   • 1 night’s hotel accommodation in winner’s chosen destination, with a four-star rating, based on sharing a family room, including breakfast;
   • One-day family admission to a zoo or safari park attraction of winner’s choice, with a range of options available nationwide;
   • Dinner and drinks at a family restaurant of winner’s choice, up to a maximum value of £30 per adult and £20 per child, including service charge;
   • 1 x Animal Adoption or Sponsorship Pack for each child, including adoption certificate and animal information pack, with a choice of animals available (includes secure UK mainland delivery)

   Hotel accommodation is based on two adults and 2 under-16s sharing one family room;

   Hotel will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion;

   A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into hotel accommodation;

   Prizes are subject to opening times/dates of the winner’s chosen attractions. Specific opening times/dates will vary according to the winner’s chosen location;

   Prize may be subject to the terms of the attraction’s management for which the Promoter is not responsible or liable and by accepting the prize winners are deemed to have accepted and be bound by those terms and conditions;

   All prize elements are subject to availability; Prize cannot be taken from 21st December – 2nd January (Christmas and New Year), over UK bank holidays or over Easter Sunday;

   Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and travel must be booked and completed within that time frame;

   Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates no later than six weeks prior to departure;

   All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time and once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended;

   At least one traveller must be aged 18 or over; Children must have parental or guardian permission prior to travel;

   The prize excludes meals and drinks (except where stated above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, visas and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize package described above;

8. The Prize Provider is Element London and when entering this prize draw, the winner consents to us passing their details to the Prize Provider for them to supply the prize. Any personal data submitted by the winner to the Prize Provider will be treated in accordance with Prize Provider’s privacy policy, which is accessible here: element-london.com/element-london-privacy-policy-travel-english/
9. The prize for the winners is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
10. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
11. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone who emails PlayIsNeverCancelled@theentertainer.com (subject: Barbie (Family Zoo Adventure) Prize Draw) or writes to Barbie (Family Zoo Adventure Prize Draw, The Entertainer, TEAL House, Anglo Office Park, 67 White Lion Road, Amersham, Buckinghamshire HP7 9FB (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4.
12. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
14. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's privacy policy here https://www.thetoyshop.com/privacy. See also condition 11 with regard to the announcement of winners and clause 10 regarding the provider of the prize.
15. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
