No where to put batteries

After my daughter begged me to get her this toy, as shes wanted it for a qhile now only to be unable to digure out where to put the batteries in the car body despite opening all the screws theres just no where for them.

Big Disappointment

Bought this for my sons 6th Birthday and had one disappointed son on his birthday morning. We bought brand new batteries so we knew it would work, we took it out the box and it was already broken, so took back to local store and got an exchange. Got home with the exchange and well blow me this still doesn’t work properly. It chugs forwards slowly when pressing forwards and the same backwards when trying to reverse it. It hardly turns when you use the control for it to turn and only goes full speed if you nudge it to sort of start it off with your hand or foot gently. WASTE OF MONEY!!
