With reinforced, non-folding frames, durable metal-core wheels, and one-piece T bar handlebars, stunt scooters are designed to withstand impact from jumps and spins. What stunts can you do on a scooter?

Stunt scooters can be used for all sorts of tricks, from jumps to spins, and even flips for the more advanced and confident rider. Below are just some examples of tricks.

  • Double Tail Whip: An advanced trick where the rider kicks the scooter base (the deck) so that it spins two full rotations while in the air before they catch and land it.
  • 360 Spin: The rider and the scooter complete a full spin while in the air.
  • Bar Spin to Tail Whip: Combining a bar spin and tail whip, the rider performs a full spin of the deck and then a full spin of the handlebars.
  • Inward Bri Flip: A seriously advanced trick where the deck is kicked backwards over the rider’s head while they perform an inward rotation, making it a complex but impressive trick to pull off.
  • Finger Whip: Like a tail whip, however, the rider hits the deck with their fingers to perform the spin rather than kicking it with their feet.
  • Superman: Getting big air from an aerial trick, riders extend their body, and the scooter, horizontally, to imitate the famed flying pose of DC superhero, Superman.
  • Tuck No Hander: One of the earliest tricks many vert scooter riders learn, the rider jumps in the air and pulls the handlebars into their waist before holding them with their knees and holding a brief T pose whilst in the air.
  • Whip Rewind: This is where a rider starts a tail whip but before the deck completes the full rotation, the kick it back to return it to its original position.

Can stunt scooters fold?

No, stunt scooters are made for durability, and so folding components can damage a little easier when landing hard or being thrown about. As such, these scooters don’t fold for that added element of robustness when performing tricks.
