Terms & Conditions

1. This prize draw is open to all UK residents except the Promoter’s or Santa’s Lapland employees and their families, including close friends, partners or relatives of employees, or employees of other Hotelplan UK companies and any third parties directly associated with the operation or promotion of the prize draw. Any such entries will be deemed invalid.
2. The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.
3. To enter, simply pick up a Santa’s Lapland entry form in-store, complete the entry fields and post the entry into the instore prize draw post boxes, or enter via the online entry form via https://emails.thetoyshop.com/public/m/lapland_comp, and only one entry per person is permitted.
4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for online entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network, or server failure of any kind.
5. The opening date for entries is at 00.00 on Saturday 1st October 2022. The closing date for entries is 23.59 on Saturday 24th December 2022. Entries received after this time will not be valid.
6. One winner will receive a trip of a lifetime to Lapland in Finland to be taken between restricted dates as set out in condition 11.
7. The winner will be selected by random draw performed by a computer process on or before Friday 20th January 2023.
8. The trip prize includes a three-day/two-night or four-day/three-night Santa’s Lapland Santa’s Magic break for two adults and two children (aged 2-12 years) to Lapland (Saariselkä) between the dates set out in condition 11; children under 2 years of age are not recommended for this trip.
9. The trip prize includes half-board accommodation, with transfers and return economy flights from a regional airport in the UK subject to availability, which may include Gatwick, Luton, Stanstead, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh, or East Midlands.
10. The prize trip will include a Search for Santa Day, including a private family meeting with Santa and snow fun activities. Any optional Lapland adventure activities will come at your own cost and subject to availability.
11. The trip prize must be taken on your preferred dates between 24th November and 24th December 2023 (inclusive), and subject to availability.
12. The trip prize can be redeemed on one booking only. The trip prize cannot be split across separate bookings.
13. The trip prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is non-transferable and is subject to availability.
14. Optional extra activities or extra people can be added onto the booking at your own cost and subject to availability.
15. Travel to the airport is not included, and any costs of travel to and from the airport in the UK, travel insurance, parking, food, and drink outside of the hotel meal plan, spending money and all and any other incidental travel expenses are not included in the prize.
16. Events may occur that render the awarding of the prize trip impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Santa’s Lapland.
17. Santa’s Lapland reserves the right to change the prize or rearrange the date at any time and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to Santa’s Lapland as a result thereof.

19. The winner will be notified by email and/or telephone (using details provided at entry) within 7 days of the draw and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 7 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
20. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
21. The trip prize is supplied by Santa's Lapland, a brand of Hotelplan Limited and part of the Hotelplan (UK Group) Limited, Nelson House, 55 Victoria Road, Farnborough, Hampshire, GU14 7PA.
22. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final, binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
23. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the prize winner to anyone who emails: PlayIsNeverCancelled@theentertainer.com (Subject: Santa’s Lapland) or writes to Santa’s Lapland, TEAL House, Anglo Office Park, 67 White Lion Road, Amersham, Buckinghamshire HP7 9FB (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 5. If you object to your surname and/or county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter by emailing: PlayIsNeverCancelled@theentertainer.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
24. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
25. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
26. Personal data supplied during this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's privacy policy here: https://www.thetoyshop.com/privacy. See also condition 7 regarding the announcement of the winner and condition 29 regarding the sharing of personal data to Hotelplan.
27. The competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the competition submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
28. The Promoter of this prize draw is The Entertainer (Amersham) Limited whose registered office is at TEAL House, Anglo Office Park, 67 White Lion Road, Amersham, Buckinghamshire HP7 9FB.
29. By ticking the appropriate box on the entry form, a prize draw entrant is confirming their agreement for the Promoter to securely share their personal details to Hotelplan (UK Group) Limited and other Hotelplan brands to use for marketing purposes only.
