What is the Piggy Bank Card?

• The Piggy Bank Card is a safe, fun way to learn about money, saving and budgeting.


• It is not a debit or credit card so your parents don't need to worry. Even though it looks really cool, your card can only be spent in The Entertainer's stores (not online).


• If you've been good, mum and dad can put cash on your card online or in any of The Entertainer's stores, or they can make regular payments for your pocket money.

Where can I buy a Piggy Bank card?

Piggy Bank cards are available from any branch of The Entertainer. They're free of charge, but you'll need to load a minimum of £5 onto your card in store before you can register it online and receive your bonus £1.

Where can my child use their Piggy Bank card?

A Piggy Bank card can be spent in any of The Entertainer's 60 stores. Cards are for in-store use only and cannot be spent online or over the phone.

What happens if a Piggy Bank card is lost or stolen?

Please take a few moments to register your card. Once registered, you can return to the site if it is lost or stolen and we'll send you a replacement with your balance intact.

How do I load cash onto a Piggy Bank card?

You can add cash to the card online or at the till in any of The Entertainer stores.

How much cash can I load onto a Piggy Bank card?

You'll need to load a minimum of £5 onto the card before you can register it, but after that you can choose any amount.

Can I add more than one card to a Piggy Bank account?

Yes. Once you've set up your account you can add additional Piggy Bank cards for each of your children up to a maximum of five cards.

Can more than one card Piggy Bank card be used at a time?

No, when using a Piggy Bank card to pay for a purchase only one card may be used in that transaction. If there is not enough balance available on the card additional payment can be made by cash or a credit/debit card.

Can a Piggy Bank card be re-used?

Yes. You can add funds to the card in-store or online.

Check the balance online or in any store.

How long are Piggy Bank cards valid for?

The cards expire 24 months from the date of the latest transaction.

Does the whole amount have to be spent at once?

No, your outstanding balance will remain on the card after a purchase has been made. Change from a Piggy Bank card can not be given in cash.

Can I return a Piggy Bank card or exchange it for cash?

Piggy Bank cards can not be exchanged for cash, but can be redeemed against any purchase in The Entertainer.

Terms and Conditions

The Entertainer reserves the right to add to or vary terms and conditions on reasonable notice for legal, security or regulatory reasons or to discontinue the Piggy Bank Card scheme at any time in the event of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of The Entertainer. Any such change and action to be taken as a result will be given in advance by notices in The Entertainer stores and on our website.
