Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look great when made Bought for my grandson who is Lego mad but especially Star Wars, took him five and half hours to put together, he was totally focus in building and because he had to read the instructions carefully was able to upskill his reading and the end result was a fantastic toy to play with highly recommended he is nine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Where's my snow speeder?! Childhood dreams come true. If only I were clever enough to motorise this and make it walk. I just need a snow speeder to complete the Battle of Hoth. Bring a friend to help build the otherwise repetitive legs. Suitable for ages 38.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "General Veers, prepare your men." Ever since seeing Star Wars episode V, I've awed at the intimidating might of AT-ATs. Their stature and almost animal likeness is what makes them unique from an ordinary starfighter. This set is the best, most realistic representation of an AT-AT in Lego that I have seen. Its playability, realism, functionality and long building time are its good points. It is a fun, but tedious at times, build with many techinc pieces to add strength and rigidity. Their are almost no flaws, as the body is sturdy and the panels are stuck well to it. The head just bristles with cannons and there is plenty of room in the body for Snowtroopers. Pros: very realistic and fun to play with, and also sturdy and just simply AWESOME-LOOKING! Cons:The head is slightly to big and bulgy, and I found that the legs are a little too hard to move. The discs on the leg joints frequently come off. These are small nuances that really don't affect my overall impression of the model, and it is probably the best Lego purchase that I (and you, maybe) have every made!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great piece for my desk I grew up on Star Wars as a kid and was an action figure junkie back in the day. Even though I'm an adult with all the adult responsibilities, I never grew out of my love for the original trilogy. In fact, my earliest memory of seeing a movie in the theater is the scene in Empire Strikes Back where the Rebel commander on the ground is looking through is binoculars, and sees the AT-AT foot coming down in the snow. I love to decorate my desk at work with items that reflect my personality, so naturally this set is a perfect fit. I spent about 3 hours over the course of two days putting this set together, and it was worth every minute and every penny that I paid for it. Maybe it's because I haven't built a set in a long time, but it did seem to be a bit on the challenging side. However, the nice part is that, as you might suspect, many of the build parts are symmetrical, which helps speed up the assembly process. The details are pretty good, and the inclusion of the five mini-figures is excellent. There is plenty of room in the body to place some mini-figures, and it's a very solid build overall. The head assembly leaves a little bit to be desired in terms of room, but it's not a show-stopper. I also picked up the Snow Speeder, because why not? I don't buy my sets for the purpose of playability, but I imagine that this would workout just fine for those that do. Looking forward to seeing more Hoth sets in the future!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best AT-AT Yet! I honestly have never decided to purchase any of the previous AT-AT sets because they were not true to the design of the ones in the movies. I love Star Wars and you don't mess with that vibe! That being said, Lego finally got their heads in the game and designed an AT-AT worthy of George Lucas' own private collection. I know that's saying a lot, but this is one beautifully detailed walker with some nice features. Fully articulating legs with many joints for unique poses, moving head, cockpit with enough space for two mini-figs, two flick missiles, and a trap door for added fun. It's still not a perfect representation of the movie version, but it is by far the most accurate to date. The best part is my son loves to help me reenact the battle of Hoth with it and it doesn't fall apart--even with knocking it over and such. A great build, awesome design, and one happy father and son! Way to go, Lego!
