Once i have purchased the ecto 1 ghostbusters, I found this set of back to the future. It was just the right purchase !!!
The assembly is easy and very fast. The detail is also very acceptable, both the car inside and outside.
It may also be seen as delorean of the first film as the second. (By the way they could have put more pieces that would allow the assembly as the third film).
The level of detail of the figures, is again a maximum, to the level of that Lego has accustomed us.
The only flaw is t the scale of the car in relation to the figures. Within the same can not fit the two seated figures and the respective closed doors !!!!

I LOVE this set so much, it s all I could have wanted from a lego back to the future Delorean. No stickers, great mini-figs, and amazing look!
Sadly mine broke after 1 and a half year of regular play. Falls apart but easy to put back together, unless you lose pieces.
Overall opinion: 10/10 Would buy again!

This set is perfect if you want to use it as display or decoration. It is very detailed, even for it's small size. Since it uses a lot of very small pieces, building takes concentration and might be a little tough at times. The result makes it all worth it though. I wouldn't recommend it if you're buying it to play with it, unless you're willing to add a few modifications to it's roof. The Doc. Figure doesn't easily inside the car due to his big hair, unless you really sit him well in the car before putting the roof back on. Marty fits easily. Both figures cannot fit in the car at the same time though. What makes it even more amazing is the fact that you can make the car look like all 3 movie versions of it. You can make it hover using transparent blocks. The building instructions feature fun facts and stats from the three movies, which is great if you are a BTTF fan, which I hope you are if you want to buy this.

I bought this on impulse due to my girlfriend pointing it out. while watching BTTF, I finished about the time marty was racing down main street of 1955. i did some small modifications as well to make it more real

well first off... there was never any doubt that i would purchase this set.
as soon as i saw it i knew the price was very reasonable to get a delorean! ordered one for myself and one for my brother (birthday present). getting a marty mcfly with the "life preserver" and the crazy ol' doc brown was like a dream come true.
as mentioned in other reviews... the doors are a little flimsy and not quite up to the standards i would expect. it is very awkward to fit them both in the car too... but really not a big deal. i would have paid handsomely if there was the iconic yellow radiation suit and helmet included but now i can have fun trying to make my own i guess!
this was my first lego set in a very long time. i've been building duplo and friends with the kids but this was the first one for ME and it totally unlocked the lego obsession that has been brewing since childhood. i can't wait for the delorean to pull up to the new palace theatre i just ordered!
the wheels folding up and down is one of the great marvels of this set. fascinating how they do it.
love the licence plates and skateboard / hoverboard.
might have to find a little doggie to fill in for einstein.
someday i would love to build the clock tower scene to go along with this.
if you are a long time BTTF fan and are even remotely interested in this... don't wait too much longer! i seriously doubt you can go wrong by owning this set.
