I loved this set! I am a YouTuber, but unfortunately, it broke before it could appear in one of my videos. And the pieces are scattered around my house. It was very fragile. When a friend came over, he brought it upstairs and played with it. Unfortunately, when I took it downstairs, it broke. LEGO, next time you make a huge temple like this, please make it more sturdy. (I have yet to purchase the Temple of Airjitzu, so I don't know if that one will be the same thing or not.) Other than the Temple itself, the minifigures were great! And we finally get an Overlord Minifigure! I think it also should have came with Pythor and General Cryptor, and maybe a Good Cyrus Borg. Overall, the Overlord's mech deserves 10/10 Rating, the Temple is a 7/10 Rating, and the minifigure choice is 9/10. Overall, this set deserves a 26/30 rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MiniKangaroo Great set for Ninjago fans!!
Got this for my son during Christmas (as Santa), and he absolutely loves it!! He started building it, but I had to finish up the rest since he got tired but really wants to have it completed and play it it.
The set contains almost all the ninjas, exception of the red and black, but in preparation of that, I have already purchased 2 smaller set that comes with those figures (so that he would have the whole team!!)
It took me hours even as an experienced builder, but the build was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this set to anyone that is a fan of ninjago.
- tons of great minifigures
- solid building with many play features in it
- price, for the amount of content you get with the huge building, this is a great deal (could be cheaper now if found in retail since it is an older set)
- would be nice to have both the red and black ninja in the set, but it is certain not a deal breaker since those 2 can be obtained with 2 small battle pack sets

The latest and greatest temple is here! The temple of fortitude (as it was called) is a large and amazing set with great oriental detailing. Many things shoot in this set: discs fire under the dragon head, a cannon shoots from under the roof, and catapults fire on the sides of the head. There's so much stuff to say about this set so I'm going to use pros and cons:
Pros: large, fires many things, spinning rock walls at the base, large prison, minifig launch feature, detailing, tech room, new rice paper prints, minifigs
Cons: Zipline (got a knot in it), things are scaled small to make the building look bigger, not a lot of space unfortunately, overlord vehicle is clunky and I don't like the design
I hope the pros and cons helped a little but if I tried to type every last thing in this set, this review would be 10 pages long! I've had a lot of fun playing with this set and the pieces used have helped with my custom creations. I would certainly recommend this set as the good outweighs the bad and there's a lot of fun packed in "The Battle For Ninjago City."

Wow, this set is so awesome! Truly amazing! This temple is quite large there are so many good features that this set deserves a full pros list:
-cool trapdoor steps which are fun to use
-the roof tiles have the nice fold up feature
-very nice details
The Overlord's mech is very nice. The spring loaded launcher is very good. Zane's glider is a nice little touch.
Overall, this set deserves two thumbs-up, and is worth it. Ninjago designers, great job keep it up.

I purchased this for my 5 year old son. Although he could not build it himself he has played with it every day. It is a must have for any Ninjago fan.
