Rated 5 out of 5 by emperor Risk - classic strategy game for aspiring Dictators!
This game is great fun if you enjoy strategic games like chess, cluedo or monopoly. It is a bit complicated when you first start but you pick up the rules quickly and after that the game becomes really addicted. It does take at least an hour to play so you can't use it to fill a spare 10 minutes but it is great for older children and adults.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Henso Great game for families aged from about 10
We bought this for our two grandsons and their parents as a Christmas present. As we stayed with them over Christmas we played it together and had a great time.
The boys (ages 10 & 12) got into it immediately and the whole thing became very competitive. We played it simply, so it didn't go on too long and the 12 year old won- just (much to the chagrin of the 10 year old)!

Very entertaining family board game, similar to monopoly in that it brings out the competitiveness in players as they strive for world domination. Easy rules to understand allowing tactics and strategies for those determined to conquer. Educational in that countries and continents are clearly marked out. On occasion we have started a game of Risk that has lasted days. Can be played 2 player but the more the better. Would definitely recommend this game to both adults and children over 10. Worth the full price but keep an eye out because it is intermittently on offer - I bought it from The Entertainer during such an offer.

Rated 5 out of 5 Risk - take a risk and conquer the world!
Great strategic game - much enjoyed by the family and a fantastic change from playing "run of the mill" computer games. Really good to play a conventional, but well thought out board game.

A great game. A framework of strategy and risk taking played out through dice based attack/defend mechanics. Will that risk you take build your empire or turn it to dust? Fast changing and exciting.
