We have played this game every day since we bought it (at the children's insistence). They are badgering me all the time to play it because they love it so. It says for Age 9. My children are 8 & 5 and don't find it difficult-as long as you have someone who can read then it's fine. You can choose the length of the game by setting the retirement age-mine put it at 100 because they don't want the game to end. Strangely enough they don't really want to know who wins-you get paid so much during the game that everyone ends up with loads of money so no-one feels like a loser. Half the time we don't even count money to see who won because they're just happy to have played it. Can't recommend enough.

Myself and my husband were looking forward to playing this game with our eldest son as we each had fond memories of games night with our respective parents when we were children. Unfortunately the modifications to the board and rules that the text on the box proudly announced did not enhance game play at all, instead it rendered the game dull and a little more complex than it really needed to be. Not at all enjoyable and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Aside from the game the click and collect option on The Entertainer website is very useful and the staff at my local store were as lovely and helpful as ever. Thanks guys.

We have been fans of the Game of Life for many years and we were not disappointed by the new version. The rotating game board certainly made the game more dynamic. I really think this could be used in Secondary school PDC lessons as my teenagers love it.

Rated 3 out of 5 Bit of a faff really
I think I got this in a sale so good value for money although it's been a while and we've only got it out 4 times and never bothered to get through a whole game. Fiddly to get together and the bits are pretty tiny. OK concept and our competitive 9 year old is always the one to encourage us to get it out to play - if he didn't pester I'm not sure I'd get excited about it.

Good game. Played with my 8 and 10 year old. Bit complicated for the 8 year old but he did fine with a bit of help.
