Product info

Give your robotic fish freedom to swim with this Hexbug Aquabot Fish Bowl set.

Using electro-magnetic propulsion to move about underwater, this first water-born Hexbug can dive, turn around and swim up, just like a real fish.

Unlike a real fish, however, there's no mess and this little critter only comes to life in water - a sensor means it turns off out of water.

Great for children aged three and up, this Aquabot needs 2 x LR44 batteries, which are included.

One Aqua Bot fish is included (styles vary).

Hexbug Aquabot Fish Bowl with Aquabot is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 45.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pointless and useless Bought as a Xmas present for my 5 year old son, it needed a few nudges to get it going and turned itself off after about 30 secs it held his interest for about 5 min before hands were in the bowl of water along with anything else within reach and water all over the floor. It hasn't been touched or had any interest shown in it since

How do you turn it back on again?

I recently bought a Hexbug Aquabot from The Entertainer in Telford and it worked fine. Until it stopped swimming after 5 mins. I took it out, let it dry then put it back in again and it didn't work.

I am sorry to hear that the Hexbug Aquabot that you purchased is not working. Have you tried new batteries in the bug? Alternatively, you can return this item to the store if it is within 28 days of purchase. However, the item will need to have original packaging intact and they will need to see a valid proof of purchase to accept anything back for a refund or exchange. The alternative is a gift card. I hope this helps!

How many fish can you have in the bowl at one time?

Asked by: Anonymous
I brought 2 fish for my son yesterday but already they are in separate bowls as they keep sticking together when they pass one another, due to the magnets.they don't dive either, they swim just below the surface.I personally don't think they are very good.

Can they be used in a bath with a child over 3?

Asked by: Anonymous
My son has one and plays with it in the bath all the time, even in bubbles and it still seems to be working fine so far!
