Neville is based on a Bulleid Q1 Engine, and is painted black with the number 33010 on the sides of his cab. When he first came to Sodor, the engines held a grudge against him. Neville is seen to be a kind and friendly engine, who had the misfortune of being a steam engine who looked like a diesel! Thomas misinterpreted him talking with Arry & Bert, and soon a rumour spread that he was planning to bump the steam engines. Luckily the rumour was rectified, and Thomas became good friends with Neville!
