Ferruccio Lamborghini, born under the zodiac sign of Taurus, founded the famous super car company and gave it the symbol of the fighting bull. Later, when the Miura was introduced, he named the car after a famous breed of fighting bull, and this practice became a tradition for the House of the Bull. Honouring this tradition, Lamborghini have baptized their latest model with the name of a fighting bull breed: the Gallardo.

The Gallardo has a structural aluminium spaceframe, the body is also made of aluminium.
