Drifting is a new type of racing, popular in Japan, the US and increasingly in the UK and Europe. Drivers demonstrate ultimate car control and balance as they perform a series of power slides and fish tails. Race winners are usually the last ones to spin! The Scalextric Powerslide set offers 2 strikingly liveried Nissan 350Z cars - increasingly the Drift racer car of choice. The cars are fitted with unique guide blade systems that allow 360 degree movement. The challenge is to fish-tail the car around the perfectly shaped figure of 8 circuit and send tyre wall piles flying! It's great fun and, remember, points will be awarded for style!

Produced by Scalextric as a rear mounted, side-winder motor, rear wheel driven chassis. Compatible to race against all other Scalextric cars since the solo packaged cars' guide system is quickly converted to behave just like a standard guide system simply by inserting the two supplied screws. The Nissan 350Z are lightweight cars with a tinted black windows effect.
