Tamagotchi Connection really simulates the life cycle of an actual pet, letting its owner experience the fun and responsibility of tending to a pet's needs. Once an adult, the Tamagotchi can connect with a compatible Tamagotchi friend and have a second-generation Tamagotchi that the owner can care for and nurture into an adult to create more generations to come. The character you get is based on how well you care for your Tamagotchi, and you can actually raise several generations in one Tamagotchi with proper care and feeding. You can also play again and again with Tamagotchi and get a different character each time you play. And this new line of Tamagotchi has a great new element: a pause feature!
