Developed by NASA scientist Mark Tilden using his ground-breaking hard-wired BEAM technology, Spidersapien is modelled not on the clunky robots of old, but on biological life-forms. As a result, he's undergone a substantial deconstruction and reengineering in the Tilden lab to deliver authentic Spider-like motion, speech, mannerisms, actions and more! Substantial modification has occurred deep in his core, even enabling him to replicate the internationally acclaimed web-slinging actionof the superhero himself!

A fully modified control unit provides access to no fewer than four different programming modes and movement sequences of up to 84 steps, with six distinct commands for each side of his rippling body! As ever with Spiderman, it's his insect-like nervous system that mark him out as special. Advanced interactive reflexes enable him to respond to touch, sound and obstacles in his path. In fact, he's a robot so advanced, you could be forgiven for thinking he's human... Look out... here comes the Spidersapien!
