well I thought the mixture would have lasted much longer but it didn't. If anything, it lasted all of 20 mins - such a shame. I have tried to make my own bubble mixture but no luck at all. When first set up it was fine and great bubbles though they don't seem to shoot out far enough - the batteries lasted longer than the bubble mixture. Not good value really - and right now it's on offer at Asda for £5

once the bubble mixture is finished, can i use my own washing up liguid?

You can but it doesnt work half as well as the special liquid which is manufactureed for that purpose.

Also - not sure if it may possibly damage / be incompatible with the machine itself... There is liquid replacements which are reasonably priced - not only from the entertainer but also from other stores - and its usually very cheap.

I would say that if u use washing liquid the bubbles just aren't as volumptous, and there appears to be considerably fewer of them per rotation - therefore making it less desirable and less fun - so I would certainly recommend purchasing the specialised liquid.
