We bought this toy on sale and would not have paid full price for it. At the price we paid for it I felt that it was just about reasonable. Our child really enjoyed playing with the crane and it wasn't too difficult to assemble. The mechanism works well and the controls are simple and enjoyable for small children. The product is weak though, the black hooks which hold the crane at the top come apart very easily and it is easily knocked out of its base and comes apart and needs reconstructing a great deal. For the age of children that it is aimed at you need supervised play and it can't be left out or it won't last. With care it is a fun toy.

My son of eight has had much fun with this but being heavy handed and overall, doesnt look after his things as much as we would like, has broken and separated many times., He has reaffixed parts though. Would recommend.

Bought for our 2 sons at Christmas, it was broke by February.
Although I think it's a good concept, the plastic was feeble and bent easily.
It didn't fully rotate, at most would do a 45 degree turn.
As it comes in two parts, you need to slot it together. Ours regularly came undone and eventually snapped.

We bought the first version of this crane in July '11 which broke and fell apart/over on a daily basis. All the balance and strength issues have been corrected with this second edition, which is much more sturdy! Now our 4 yr old is at school, he plays with the crane less, but is still very happy that Santa replaced the old one! The only negative change from the 1st edition, is that the left/right control switch on the remote control is an up/down lever, which took a bit of getting used to. Overall, it has been worth the money, just wish this one was available in July so we didn't have to buy another!

got a Crane for a wee Christmas present for a child, but had to buy another present, as I never received it on time for Christmas.Jue to delays with the snow, but I was happy enough with the toy and it;s price and had been told it was posted next day .

What a useless toy, well not even used by a child as we assembled it to check it, then put it straight back in the box and is going back to the shop.
Quite simple to put together, but thats because its weak plastic that moves as you push it together. but then doesnt really go together well.
Very unstable when fully assembled. Put a few small pebbles in the carrier to see how well it winched up items, and it struggled and the whole top arm bent. Didnt rotate the fully 360' and got stuck at about 140'. Noisey and uesless, better ones out there, but they are the ones that are normally out of stock thats why we thought we would try this one. Wasted my time and effort.
