My 7 year old son saved up to buy this longed-for gun and once we got it home discovered that it did not work and kept getting stuck. We therefore exchanged it for another but the same thing happened with the new one. We have another nerf that does work but this particular model is definitely one to avoid.

Thought this was going to be rather 'weak' when I bought it, but it is actually very accurate - as proved when my husband smashed the christmas tree baubles he was aiming at! Proved great fun for both my 5 yr old son and my 35yr old husband!

fun especially if you dont want your boy playing with full on guns the nerf feeds thier imagination with firing harmless foam pellets.I have one happy little boy who wants more

A large, robust toy. I've fired it probably at least a hundred times and it hasn't lost any power, although some of the darts have picked up nasty fluff from the carpet. The darts make a whistling noise as they fly, can be fired fairly accurately over 5-6m, and don't hurt.
There is a sliding piece on top which arms it, which requires a little strength to pull back. The handle fits an adult hand quite comfortably, although it seems a little large for a small child.
