Product info

The Hexbug Nano Hive Playset is a massive, multi-story habitat that's guaranteed to give your Hexbug Nanos an action packed work-out.

Thanks to the clever fold-up design and carry handle, this 40cm playset is easy to take to friends' houses or on holiday.

Once it's open, choose where to setup the cool obstacles and then send your Nanos off to explore. They'll find:

  • 16 flags to send your Hexbugs off in a different direction
  • 2 merry go rounds
  • 1 see-saw
  • A ramp to take Nanos up to the top floor

The Hive playset also comes with an extremely rare Hexbug Nano mutation to get you started. It needs a LR44 cell battery which is included.

Rated 4 out of 5 Handy for travel We travel often to grandparents and this is ideal to take along. It's compact enough to take with you but contains enough bits and bobs to keep my son occupied building a new environment each time. When he's home it's easy to connect to other habitats so he can spread it all over the floor ;-) 09 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 Great gift for hexbug fans I bought this item as I'd previously bought the hexbug starter set from The Entertainer and my nephew was thrilled with this gift. He loves this new addition as it can be easily added to the starter set to increase the habit for his growing collection of hexbug nanos. This item is like a playground for the nanos and my nephew loves the roundabout and the slide. The habitat can be easily carried around and stored as the two sides fold up to the middle. I used the order and collect option and the staff were friendly and helpful when I went to the store to pick it up. I'm already looking at other hexbug habits for Christmas for my nephew as he continues to play with these toys regularly. 31 October 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Essential for the Hex Bug aficionado This is a must have addition to the Hex bug range. Can be linked to the rest of the range bits for large constructions. The bits that you can arrange inside kept my son quiet for a good while. I can also see this set being idea for taking on holiday as its clever how much fits inside it but its compact when closed. Ultimately as with most electric toys, more fun was got out of construction of weird and wonderful building and tracks using all his other Hex bits, than the actual Bugs themselves which quite soon become some what boring. Just reiterates why good old Swedish construction blocks are so eternally successful! 29 March 2012
