Kids as young as nine months will love being taken round on their first adventure, but they'll soon want the push handle removed so they can whizz round on their own.

Luckily the adaptable trike is suitable for both tots and toddlers up to a maximum weight of 23kg, and helps keep them safe on those all important first trips.

Use the adjustable push handle to take little ones for a ride while they put their feet up on the footrests, then the footrests can be removed for toddlers to practise pedalling. Once you're struggling to keep up, remove the handle so they can head off on their own.

About the safety harness

The straps on the safety harness are designed to fit babies under 12 months (they measure 30cm round the shoulder and 38cm at the waist). Kids over 12 months should be able to ride the trike without them.
